Curriculum Support

We offer a range of support and programs for those students who may need a little extra help in their learning.

Rainbow Reading

The Rainbow Reading program has been designed specifically to meet the needs and interests of students who may be having difficulty reading or who may be learning English.

The program is designed to complement existing classroom and special reading programs and has a holistic approach to literacy, which focuses on reading, comprehension and language development. The activities in the program have been designed to extend and enrich the skills learned during reading.

Parent volunteers are encouraged to help out any morning from 8:45 to 9:30.

Learning Assistance Program (LAP)

Students who benefit include:

  • Those with low self esteem
  • Disruptive students
  • The reluctant learner
